Terms of Use · Effective September 15, 2026
Terms for using the Northline Tax Advisory site and requesting a review.
These terms apply to your use of movars.com and to general consultation requests submitted to Jolly Taxpayer LTD through the Northline Tax Advisory website. They are intended to define the website relationship clearly before any separate professional engagement is agreed.
1. Website operator
The website is operated by Jolly Taxpayer LTD, 2 Eastbourne Road, Portsmouth, PO3 6LN. Business contact details are [email protected] and +44 23 9264 4873. VAT ID: GB 975858252.
2. Informational content
Articles, tables, planning checklists and other website materials provide general information about Canadian tax topics. They are not a substitute for advice based on a complete review of an individual’s facts, province or territory, documentation and current law. Tax outcomes can depend on details that cannot be captured in a general article.
We take reasonable care with publication dates and source review, but tax rules and administrative guidance can change. Users should verify material limits, deadlines and filing positions before relying on them for a transaction or return.
3. Consultation requests
Submitting a website form is a request for contact and does not create a professional-client, accountant-client or lawyer-client relationship. It does not authorize Jolly Taxpayer LTD or Northline Tax Advisory to file a return, communicate with the Canada Revenue Agency on your behalf, move funds or make investment decisions.
If additional services are available and appropriate, their scope, responsibilities, fees, document requirements and other engagement terms will be described separately before work begins.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information relevant to your inquiry and for reviewing any tax return, filing or document prepared under a separate engagement before it is submitted. Do not use the general inquiry form to send passwords, Social Insurance Numbers, banking credentials or other sensitive account identifiers.
You remain responsible for meeting your filing, payment and contribution deadlines unless a separate written engagement expressly states that a particular task has been accepted on your behalf.
5. No guarantee of outcome
No website content, consultation request or planning discussion guarantees a tax refund, reduction in tax, acceptance of a filing position, approval of a credit or deduction, or a particular response from the CRA or another authority. Results depend on the law, documentation and facts applicable to each person.
6. Intellectual property
The original written content, design, graphics, tables and presentation of this website are owned by or licensed to Jolly Taxpayer LTD unless otherwise stated. You may read, print or save reasonable extracts for personal use. Republishing, scraping, reproducing or commercially redistributing substantial portions without permission is not permitted.
7. Third-party information and links
Where the site refers to the CRA, government sources or other third parties, those organizations control their own content and services. A reference does not mean the third party endorses Northline Tax Advisory. External rules, pages and services can change without notice.
8. Availability and security
We may maintain, update or change the site from time to time. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. You must not attempt to interfere with the site, access restricted systems, introduce malicious code, scrape protected areas or use the site in a way that infringes rights or violates applicable law.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Jolly Taxpayer LTD is not responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on general website information without individualized review, from third-party services outside our control, or from a user’s failure to provide relevant facts or meet deadlines. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Governing framework
These website terms are governed by the laws applicable to Jolly Taxpayer LTD at its place of business, while preserving any mandatory consumer or privacy rights that apply to a user in Canada. A separate professional engagement may contain its own governing-law and dispute terms.
11. Changes
We may update these terms when services, website functions or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use of the site after an update is subject to the revised terms.
